PSA TECHNOLOGY
The operational process relies on the fundamental principle of adsorption. To produce nitrogen, compressed air is alternately passed through two tanks filled with Carbon Molecular Sieve (CMS). Oxygen molecules in the atmospheric air fed into the system under pressure are trapped by the CMS surface. Meanwhile, the unabsorbed nitrogen molecules pass straight through the CMS structure and are transferred to the downstream nitrogen storage tank, where the gas is stored for on-demand use.
When the CMS material in the first tank becomes fully saturated with oxygen molecules, the production cycle automatically switches to the second tank. While oxygen trapping continues under pressure in the second tank, the CMS in the first tank vents the accumulated oxygen (regeneration), making it ready for reuse. This alternating operation mechanism ensures an uninterrupted and stable flow of nitrogen gas.

During the initial start-up of the system or when the slightest deviation in gas purity is observed, the storage tank is purged with nitrogen to reach the targeted purity level. The NovaPure system makes nitrogen gas available for use by activating the outlet valve only when the desired quality standard is met. Gas falling below the required values is discharged from the process, ensuring the safety of the system. It guarantees an uninterrupted and stable product quality, especially for sectors requiring high precision such as laser cutting, food packaging, chemicals, and pharmaceuticals.
